NBT News Rain Dance:
NBT News Rain Dance by G.D. Goenka Public School organized a rain dance party for the students of Pre-Nursery. The children were all excited and came prepared to enjoy this fun activity. The artificial rain was arranged for the little ones to splash around. The bright-eyed smiling faces of the children infused the atmosphere with loads of energy and fun as they danced to the thrilling music. Apart from the thrill and enjoyment, the little Goenkans were also explained about the importance of water in our lives as being the main concern of the world as it is necessary for survival. This was explained by way of colorful and informative activities.
The students of Kindergarten, Grade One and Two were shown an experiment that helped them get a better understanding of the process of the water cycle, i.e. evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. The concept of rain water harvesting was also explained to the students as it is the need of the hour. The children were also shown a video related to the topic and the students of Kindergarten also created some bright colorful umbrella craft. As the day concluded the children could associate better with the rains and the accessories used in this season!
