Scholastic Book Fair:

GD Goenka Public School nurtures and encourages its students to develop a habit of reading books. Keeping this noble aim in mind, a Scholastic Book Fair was organized on the school premises from February 7 to 9. The students of all age groups in large numbers very enthusiastically visited the bookstall and bought books of their choice. A vast variety of books were on display on the stalls.

The students enjoyed the fair and picked books varying from science to mysteries; from puzzles to poems; and from fiction to facts. There were fiction, non-fiction, activity books, encyclopedias and many more. The main attraction was the puppet show. It was a real hit as retelling a story using puppets help kids learn narrative skills. School principal Raveen Pande talked to the students and encouraged them to inculcate reading habits.
