The GD Goenka Public School in Lucknow organised a two-day carnival based on ‘La Joie De Vivre — Viva La Vida’, which means ‘The Joy of Living’ or ‘The Triumph of Life’. Its purpose was to “learn from experiences, adapt and apply them to develop the workplace”, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP).
Dean & principal, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, AKTU, Vandana Sehgal was the chief guest at the carnival, in which students showcased their talent. The carnival parade, a street play raising awareness about cleanliness, and a musical yoga performance left a lasting impression on everyone. The theme of artificial intelligence was impressive too. Students were awarded prizes for their unique talents, and those who excelled in the board exams were also felicitated in prize distribution ceremony.
The exhibitions showcased projects made by students. The principal, Dr. Prerna Mitra said that the annual festival of the school was not only a source of entertainment but also a platform for students to showcase their talent. The chairman of the school, Sarvesh Goel appreciated the creativity, knowledge, uniqueness and innovativeness shown by the teachers and students in preparing the science models and art exhibits.
