THE SCIENCE MODEL OF GD GOENKA STUDENTS QUALIFIES FOR THE NATIONAL ROUND:-
The GD Goenka students Parth Pandey and Anirvinya Shukla, both from class VII A, participated in the Regional Science Exhibition held at Lucknow Public School, Aashiana on 09 & 10 December 2022, and presented their science model ‘Super Loader Car’ under the junior scientist category, which was much appreciated by the judges and qualified for the National Round. The students of GD Goenka Public School Lucknow added one more feather to the coveted list of the achievements of the school, when on Saturday, 10 December 2022, the science model of two of its students got selected for the National Round.
This is a prestigious competition, organized by the CBSE to inculcate the culture of science in students and develop a genuine interest in the field of science and research.
The ‘Super Loader Car’ is a car that works on sensors and can be used in different modes of transportation and by blind people also. As it is operated by using the sensors, the car will never collide and will change its path wherever there is an obstacle in front of it and will avoid the collision. This science model was prepared by the students under the able mentorship of their science teacher Mr. Varun.
A total of 92 models were presented in the exhibition, out of which 12 models made way for the next level of the National Round.
The main observer of this exhibition was Mr. Mirza Mohammad Zaheer, an eminent scientist from ISRO.
