Skill development training essential for students: Kapil Dev

Rapid changes are taking place in all areas of employment. Apart from the curriculum, skill development training is also necessary for the students. Minister of State for Vocational Education and Skill Development Kapil Dev Agarwal said this while inaugurating the Design and Innovation Lab at GD Goenka Public School on Tuesday.

This lab has been established in collaboration with Stemrobo. Minister Kapil Dev Aggarwal said that with the establishment of this lab, integrated learning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, AAS, and Mathematics) subjects will be done in a better way. He inquired about remote control cars, drone technology, 3D printing, breadboard LED light, etc.

The lab coordinator told that the students are using drones, sensors, etc. through various projects. Will be able to learn assembling of SRD Printing, Sensors, Automation, etc. Principal Dr. Prerna Mitra said that through the lab, students will get training in the field of robotics and automation along with STEM subjects. The school’s chairman Mr. Sarvesh Goel said that the objective is to make the students aware of the future opportunities and progressive career options and prepare them for a technology-driven future.
