GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL STARTS IN-PERSON CLASSES FOR THE PRE-PRIMARY SECTION:-
GD Goenka Public School has started conducting classes at the campus for pre-primary students from 15th September 2021. Nearly after one and a half years, the little Goenkans are thrilled to meet their teachers and friends. Today on the first day of the offline classes our teacher organized certain activities for the children like Danced to the song ‘Walking in the Jungle.’
Children took a round of the school and went to the rabbit cage. They also went on the swings. There was a circle time where they told things about themselves. An activity of ‘Know your Friend’ was done where they introduced themselves to each other. They did reading from the teaching aids provided by the teacher. They went to the dance room for the dance class. Children wrote their names on the green board and enjoyed their day of school.
Amid Covid-19, every classroom has sanitization facilities, student’s thermal checking on arrival, and use of pulse oximeter is among the school’s standard operating procedures while students and teachers are required to wear masks all the time. Sitting arrangement in classrooms and also the entry and exit of students has been meticulously planned to keep the obligatory distancing in mind.
The principal, Ms. Raveen Pande, asked the students and the teachers to protect themselves and others by following the social distancing norms while in school and elsewhere.
The management of GD Goenka Public school, Lucknow is taking appropriate measures and ensures no laxity in carrying out the SOP. More than 45% of the parents have given consent and were requested to send written consent letters allowing students to attend their classes at school.
