Thanksgiving Day is an annual national holiday in the United States and is celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday of November. On this day harvest and other blessings are celebrated. This day is celebrated to acknowledge family, friends, and loved ones for their presence and support in their life. On this day people give thanks in their own way and express gratitude People organize a small gathering at their place accompanied by food and drinks.

GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow celebrated Thanksgiving Day on November 23. Different activities were planned where students of Toddlers made Pre-Nursery Thankyou cards with thumbprints, Nursery children made turkey birds with colorful feathers. KG children made turkey birds with finger painting and mentioned the names of people and things they want to thank, on it. Class ed fan I children made a thanksgiving flipbook in which they wrote and drew the persons they want to thank and class II children made thankyou badges and did a thankyou worksheet and watched a video on Thanksgiving Day story.
