GD Goenka kindergartners take a step towards formal education and receive certificates on their graduation day:-
GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow celebrated Graduation Day on 18 March 2023 to applaud the young enthusiastic learners of Kindergarten for their commendable performance in the session 2022-23. The Chief Guest for the big day was Shri Pradeep Kumar Dubey, Principal Secretary Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The occasion was also graced by the School Chairman Mr. Sarvesh Kumar Goel, Mrs. Lalita Goel, and the Principal Dr. Prerna Mitra. The ceremony was attended by the parents of the students of the pre-primary section.
The celebration commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guest which was followed by the lightening of the lamp and Shiv Shakti Aradhana which left everyone exhilarated. Students of grade 1 came on the stage to perform a skit on Uniqueness ‘Being different is beautiful’. The event then moved ahead with the dance performance and ramp walk by the tiny tots of Pre-Nursery. Students of Kindergarten shared their experiences and sang mesmerizing rhymes and songs. Students of Kindergarten refreshed our childhood memories with their beautiful performance on the skit- ‘School life’. Students of Nursery A gave an energetic Aerobic performance on the song- ‘You are good’ with a lovely message ‘Your uniqueness is your magic’. Students of Grade 1 B gave a mind-blowing dance performance depicting that learning can be done through fun. Music is a piece of art that goes straight to our hearts, and keeping this thought in mind and to motivate our little ones that they can achieve anything they desire, students of Grade 1 sang a melodious song ‘I can do it’.
Hon’ble Chief Guest Shri Pradeep Kumar Dubey, in his convocation address, complimented the graduates on their achievements and motivated them to dream big in life, he also congratulated the teachers for their dedication and hard work.
The most important part of the day- ‘The Graduation Ceremony’ started with the smart kindergartners dressed in graduation capes and caps, walking the stage. The Principal along with the Chief Guest and Chairman felicitated the students with a ‘Graduation Certificate’. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms. Deepti Kalra, and a mesmerising grand finale by the students of kindergarten and grade 1 which filled the audience with mixed emotions of joy and tears.
