Li’l Picasso Activity at GD Goenka Public School Lucknow:-
“Some painters transform the sun into a yellow spot, others transform a yellow spot into the sun”
Pablo Ruiz Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer. One of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Picasso demonstrated extraordinary artistic talent in his early years, painting in a naturalistic manner through his childhood and adolescence.
Remembering this great painter and the L’il Picasso in every child GD Goenka Public School held Li’l Picasso activity on the 7th May 2024 to bring out the little Picasso within every child.
Students from little toddlers till grade 2 actively participated in the activity. Toddlers did a hand-printing activity where they painted their palms and through that created a fun handprint crab. Students of Nursey did leaf painting and thumbprint where they painted a caterpillar and a leaf. LKG and UKG students worked their magic on potato leaf painting and symmetric painting consecutively. Grade 1 students made a Marigold painting using a marigold flower and Grade 2 had put down their imagination through Nature painting, drawing different objects they saw around in the environment. Every child enthusiastically took part displaying their talents to the fullest. The students enjoyed the activities with bright colors, painted fingers, and smiling faces.
At Li ’l Picasso we celebrated the artist in every child. It provided quality art experiences that gave each child the opportunity to create in a vibrant, inspirational, and motivational art studio specially designed with children in mind. It promotes creativity, builds self-esteem, and values the individual.
