Mothers Day Celebrations:

Mother’s Day was celebrated at G.D. Goenka Public School, Lucknow on May 14, 2018. The students’ message to their mothers, “Thank you for all the times you put our happiness above yours, for loving us selflessly and being there through everything. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!
Because of you, I am me.”

All the mothers of pre-primary students were invited for the celebration. Mothers showed a great enthusiasm to participate in various activities and games. Children from pre-nursery to KG recited mother’s day rhymes, songs and performed dance sequences to elevate hearts of all the mothers to their melodious harmony. An interactive session was conducted by the school counsellor to guide mothers and seek their equal support and cooperation to ensure the overall development of the children. The students from pre-nursery to grade 2 made a ‘Thank you Card’ to express their gratitude towards their mothers. It was the right moment to write an acrostic poem for their mother. The activity made all the mothers feel special as children and mothers got an opportunity to relish the everlasting bond of love and affection between them.
