To commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, maker of Modern India, National Youth Day is celebrated in India with great joy and enthusiasm on 12th January every year. Swami Vivekananda relentlessly worked to put humanity and youth to their best use. His inspirational speeches and words of wisdom are enshrined in our memories. He glorified India’s image in various countries and made us proud.

GDGPS celebrated the 159th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda enlightening the students with his dreams and objectives. The day is observed with the primary aim of sensitizing the students about the philosophies, principles, and ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

A session was organized for the students in the Primary and Middle sections in the online mode to motivate and guide them on their journey to evolve as better humans. Students in each class gave speeches on motivating stories from the life of Swami Vivekananda. His values, contribution, and achievements were briefed to the students by their respective class teachers, making the session more interesting and valuable.

The students of grades VI, VII, and VIII delivered speeches about the life and ideas of Swami Vivekananda.

Class VI: Swami Vivekananda – An Inspirational Personality.

Class VII: Role of Youth for Digital India.

Class VIII: Channelling Youth for Nation Building.

Students were told about various life events of Vivekananda Swami and how he created an image of progressive India on the world form by talking about our rich cultural heritage.
