Poetry Recitation on G20 Investors’ Summit held in GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow

On Wednesday, 15 February 2023, a Poetry Recitation Competition was held on the theme of the G20 Summit, in GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow as part of the ongoing activities across the country.

As India handles the Presidency of the world’s largest economies group, the students of the country are being encouraged to expand their awareness, sensitivity, and confidence on relevant topics like sustainable development, women empowerment, climate change, artificial intelligence, technological advancements, anti-corruption, etc. Students of each of the four houses of GDGPS, i.e., Teresa, Tagore, Radhakrishnan, and Vivekanand, eloquently recited self-composed poems on the different topics mentioned above.

Impressive performances were given by students of classes VI to XI. The winners were decided by the judges after great deliberation. The results are as follows:

First: Sanskriti Singh (Vivekanand House)

Second: Saanvi Verma ( Vivekanand House)

The audience greatly appreciated the efforts of the students as it increased their awareness about the crucial topics being discussed at the summit.
