The students of G.D. Goenka Public School, Lucknow have yet again upped the educational standards of the School and set a new benchmark of high performance for their fellow students and juniors to follow suit. After achieving commendable success in the IIT JEE Mains 2017 where more than 25 students of the school cleared the prestigious test and now once more the meritorious students of G.D. Goenka have held the mast high as more than 13 Goenkans have cleared the IIT JEE Advanced 2017 and have made it to the top IITs.

Prominent students among those who made it to the finishing line are Ashish Gupta, Aditya Gupta, Abhishek Sinha, Ahmad Faraz, Alok Ranjan, Krishanu Singh, Kshitij Jain, Anshul Singh, Harshvardhan, Siddhant Yadav, Nishant Singh Kushwaha and Saurabh Kumar. The remarkable success of these students could well be attributed to the dedicated efforts of the teachers and the hard work, perseverance and sincere and focused preparation of the students. The students appeared quite ecstatic on their achievement as not only they made it to one of the premier educational institutions of the country but also managed to get their desired stream of engineering for studies. Few of the students also have plans to do their masters and further opt for research work.
