Indo-Bhutan Youth:

Goenka Students represent India at the Indo-Bhutan Youth Traditional Games-2018. It was a momentous day for the teachers, students and everyone associated with GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow when two of our students, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Kaif, were selected to represent the nation at the Indo-Bhutan Youth Traditional Games-2018.
Organized by Bhutan Youth Traditional Association Bhutan, held at Phuentsholing, Bhutan from April 14-15, 2018 the purpose of this football tournament was to explore traditions and cultures of the different nations and also to improve relations between the two countries.
This three-day event witnessed a set of friendly matches between the two teams. Two matches out of three were won by Bhutan for which they received gold medals and the Indian team won a match and was rewarded with silver medals.

India & Bhutan equal partners in their endeavor to achieve peace, prosperity, and development of our two peoples, the Vice President lauded the contribution of people on both sides for strengthening India-Bhutan friendship.
