Global Hand Washing Day Observed at GD Goenka Public School Lucknow
Global Hand Washing Day is observed on 15th October each year. It is an International Hand Washing promotion campaign to motivate people around the world to improve their handwashing habits. Best CBSE GD Goenka Public School celebrated Global Handwashing Day with children online and offline enthusiastically.
Students were explained that hygiene should be practiced before and after preparing food, before eating, after using the toilet, and whenever hands look dirty. Use soap and water for handwashing at least for 40 seconds. Washing hands at critical points during the day and washing with soap are both important. Little Goenka’s classes Pre-Nursery to Grade 2 spread the awareness about the correct manner of handwashing through live demonstration, they also discussed the benefits of handwashing.
