Book Fair took place at GD Goenka Public School from Thursday, 2 August to 4 August 2018. The fair saw an overwhelming response from students and their parents who had come to attend the PTM.
The advent of e-books does not seem to have hampered the fascination of students for printed books. A wide range of books from all disciplines of education was displayed, and fiction saw the greatest takers. Some class activities were designed in such a way as to promote reading while the fair was on. One of which was enacting the character from the book which the student enjoyed the most.
It was an amazing opportunity for the teachers and parents to come together and browse through books with their children. A lucky draw was also organized by the scholastic group for book lovers. The draw was won by Arena Kalra and she received a coupon worth Rs 300. The highlight of the event was the Classroom Challenge Activity that captivated the maximum readers to the bookstall to grab the title for their class. Grade IV B bagged the title and received a book hamper of 15 books for their class
