Peace Day Celebrate:

This is observed around the world on 21 September. The United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals, both within and among all nations and peoples.

This Peace Day let’s open our hearts to take personal responsibility for our own thoughts, feelings, and choices. As we do this collectively, our self-generated peace will be amplified and sent out into the world.

The 2018 UN theme is ‘The right to peace – The universal declaration of human rights at 70’. Observed by many nations, political groups and military groups, the International Peace Day was first celebrated in 1982. On this day each year, the UN Bell is rung at the UN headquarters in New York. In 2018, India moved up four places to the 137th rank on the global peace index.
